"Helpful enough to get it done"
I had to set up the payment gateway, the docs were useful. Some of the pages felt a bit long, but the tone was clear and straightforward, so it didn’t feel too frustrating. The examples made enough sense that I barely had to reach out to support, which I definitely appreciated.

My settlements have been coming through really late, and reading between the lines, it feels like there’s either a backlog or some process slowing things down behind the scenes. Either way, it’s frustrating when you’re expecting the money to arrive on time

"Refund Process Was Way Too Slow"
I had a frustrating experience with the refund process. It took way longer than it should have, and I kept having to check back again and again because there weren’t any clear updates. It really felt like I was just left waiting with no proper communication. After dealing with all that hassle, I’d expect some kind of compensation or at least a gesture to make up for the inconvenience. Not happy with how this was handled.

"Checkout reliability could be better"
Ive been using CCAvenue for payments and the success rate hasnt been that great. Some transactions go through smoothly, but quite a few either fail or get stuck, and then the customer has to try again. It makes the whole checkout process feel a bit risky. For a small business, its really frustrating to deal with. I just wish the reliability was better

The payment links work well and are easy enough to use 🙂. But setting up invoices can feel a bit clunky and confusing sometimes, so I wish that part was smoother.

I’ve used ccavenue a few times, the fraud checks didn’t feel as strong as I expected. I ran into a payment issue, and support took longer than I would’ve liked to respond. Is it unsafe? I’m not saying that. But when it comes to payments, shouldn’t the security handling feel a bit more solid?

"Payment options were disappointing"
I’m annoyed with ccavenue’s payment method coverage. I expected a lot more options, but some common cards and wallets I use either weren’t available or just didn’t work properly. I actually had to ask a customer to try paying another way, which made my site look unprofessional. And the canned apology responses don’t really help when the basic payment stuff isn’t working. For a payment gateway, this should be the bare minimum. Really frustrating experience.

A friend recommended it to me, so I decided to give it a try. The onboarding process was mostly fine, but the KYC took longer than I expected. I also had to upload my documents a second time, which was a little annoying. Support did get back to me, but it wasn’t exactly quick. Overall, not a bad experience, just could’ve been smoother.

I’ll be fair, everything else seemed fine once the account was active, but the activation itself took way longer than I expected. It was frustrating to wait around without much clarity. I don’t think it ruined the whole experience, but it definitely could’ve been smoother.

"Checkout was fine, but the loading tested my patience"
I used ccavenue.com to pay for an order, the checkout was straightforward. The payment options were easy to spot, and I didn’t have to sit there figuring out what to do next, which I appreciate because I get annoyed fast with confusing payment pages.

The only thing that bothered me was the page taking a few extra seconds to load after I selected my bank. I know it wasn’t forever, but I’m not the most patient person, so I immediately started wondering if it froze or if I should click again.

In the end, the payment went through without any real issue, and I got the confirmation quickly. So overall it was a good experience, but I really wish it felt a bit faster...

I had to reach out to CCAvenue support because I was unsure about a payment status. They did get back to me, and the support person was polite, but it took longer than I expected to get a clear answer. Anyway, the issue was eventually resolved, so I wouldn’t call it a bad experience. I just think the replies could be faster and a little more straightforward. Overall, it was okay.

"pretty reliable for everyday payments"
i've been using ccavenue for our online payments, and it has been dependable so far. even on sale days, the payment page loads properly and transactions don't just fail randomly like they did with a few other gateways i tried. the status updates are quick too, which makes things a lot easier. it is not perfect, but for regular daily use, it does the job without giving me a headache. that's mostly what i need.

"Recurring billing turned into such a hassle"
I tried using CCAvenue for recurring billing, it was more frustrating than it needed to be. The setup felt confusing from the start, failed payments weren’t shown clearly, and cancelling a subscription somehow turned into this annoying back-and-forth process. Support was slow to respond too, which just made the whole thing even more irritating. I was hoping it would be straightforward, but nope. Definitely not something I’d want to use again.

"Helpful support, but the fund hold was a bit stressful"
My ccavenue account got suspended out of nowhere and one of my payouts was put on hold, which made me anxious at the time. I had to send a few emails and go through some document verification, so it wasn’t exactly a smooth experience. That said, their team did respond and eventually cleared everything after a few days. The money came through and my account is working again now. I’d say it’s still worth using, but I do hope they improve the speed of updates during issues like this.
